At APIEM, we implement several social, educational, and humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting the most vulnerable groups. Guided by our mission — providing access to education, promoting inclusion, and opening pathways to professional skills — we work daily to strengthen dignity, autonomy, and hope in our communities.
Our work is organized around five core domains
At APIEM, we do not create schools. Instead, we equip existing education actors — teachers, school leaders, and community educators — with the knowledge and tools needed to promote inclusive and dignified education.
We provide:
Training on national and international laws that protect the rights of persons with disabilities,
Awareness on key legal texts supporting the rights of blind and visually impaired learners,
Capacity-building for teachers on inclusive pedagogy,
Establishment of inclusive classrooms where blind learners study together with sighted learners,
Provision of adapted learning tools and psychosocial support,
School materials and sponsorship for children living in extreme vulnerability.
Through these actions, we encourage participation, inclusion, dignity, and equality for all children.
